Water Bottle Tracker
Have you seen the cups and water bottles that show you how much water to drink by a certain time? These are so nice to have, and truly keep you on track to drinking the right amount of water needed. If you don’t have one, you can buy them, or grab a sharpie and make your own.
Don’t Drink Calories
Did you know that the average person drinks 400 calories a day? That is a lot of calories and it adds up, so make sure to look at your drinks. Try grabbing things with less sugar to no sugar. Add some fruit to your water to let it give it a little flavor.

Fiber In Diet
Make sure you are eating enough fiber in your diet. Fiber helps slow the rate of sugar that is absorbed into the bloodstream. When you eat higher fiber foods, such as grains, fruits and veggies, legumes and more, it keeps your blood glucose levels from rising to fast.
Small Plates
Portion Control is a tough one. It is so simple to over eat, so grab smaller plates when you get your meal around. It helps trick your brain to thinking your eating more when your plate is full.
Eat Slower
I was told when I was real little to chew each bite like 20-30 times. Eating slow helps you eat less. Sometimes it takes your brain a little bit to realize you are full.
Get up and Move
If you are stuck at a desk all day, or generally don’t do much. Try to get up and move a little more than you normally do. Even walking to get the mail, or just trying to get up and move a bit more, really can help. If you are watching a show try to walk in place during commercials, do sit ups or something else. This can really help even though it’s not a thirty minute workout.
Don’t Beat Yourself Up
This is key, that we all will have hard days and mess up. Just because you have a bad day here and there doesn’t mean your unworthy and have to give it. Go to bed and when you wake up the next day, know it is a new day and a new start! We all have hard days or even a week.
I know some of these you think are so simple, but when you implement them into your daily life, it can really change over time! If it seems overwhelming to do all of these at once, do one at a time and go at your pace. You can choose what you and at your own pace.
