If that is the case, a sure-fire way to get rid of bloating is a good detox! And believe it or not, pumpkin will be your best friend when it comes to detoxing in style!
In this post, I share a variety of ways you can prepare delicious pumpkin smoothies that pack a mighty punch and can help detox your liver, and clear up your skin in the process.

8 Pumpkin Smoothies To Detox Your Body
1. Pumpkin Pie Detox Smoothie
Combine a ½ teaspoon of cinnamon, ¼ teaspoon of ginger powder, ¼ teaspoon of ground cloves, and ¼ teaspoon of ground nutmeg in a small jar, close the lid and stir well.
That’s your pumpkin pie spice blend.
Now combine 1 cup of water, 2 large frozen bananas, roughly chopped, 2 small dates, pitted and roughly chopped, 1 teaspoon of hemp seeds, 1 teaspoon of chia seeds, ¼ teaspoon of pumpkin pie spice blend, 1/8 teaspoon of vanilla powder, 1 large pinch of turmeric, and 1 small pinch of Himalayan crystal salt or sea salt and blend until it’s smooth.
Then prepare to reap the benefits of this detoxing solution.
2. Pumpkin Spice Green Smoothie
Blend 3/4 cup pumpkin puree, 1/4 ripe avocado, 2 large handfuls fresh spinach, 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon, 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger, 1/8 teaspoon ground cloves, 1/2 teaspoon vanilla, 5 soft Medjool dates, pitted, 1 1/2 cups water or almond milk, and 2 handfuls of ice.
This will serve not one, but two smoothies so you can detox with a friend. Winning!
3. Pumpkin, Apple and Kale, Oh My!
Stick ⅔ cup of unsweetened almond milk, ¾ cup ice. 1 ½ cups of chopped kale, 1 stalk of chopped celery, ½ red or green apple, 1 tbsp ground flax seed, 1 teaspoon honey, and of course, 3/4 cup pumpkin puree into a blender.
Not only will you detox, but you’ll benefit from the weight loss cleanse.
4. Glowing Green And Orange Smoothie
Blend 1 kiwi, 1 banana, ¼ cup pineapple, 3/4 cup pumpkin puree, 2 celery stalks, 2 cups spinach, and 1 cup of water until its smooth.
Then drink up, your liver will thank you for it, plus it tastes great!
5. Pumpkin Apple Berry Detox
This one’s super easy to make.
You’ll need to mix 1 cup of mixed berries, which may include raspberries, strawberries, and blueberries, 1 large apple, 2 cups of spinach, 3/4 cup pumpkin puree, and 1 cup water.
Then pour it into a glass and enjoy! Your skin will thank you for it.
6. Pineapple Banana Pumpkin Detox
Mix 3/4 cup pumpkin puree, 1 cup pineapple, 1 banana, 1 apple, 2 cups spinach, and 1 cup of water.
It might not come out looking orange, but it this smoothie is bound to taste delicious on your taste buds, and oh-so cleansing on your liver!
7. Kale Pineapple Coconut And Pumpkin
It sounds radical, but if you mix 1 banana, 1 cup pineapple, 1 cup of coconut water, 2 cups of chopped kale, and 3/4 cup pumpkin puree, you’ll have the perfect smoothie.
You can always add a little more pumpkin flavor by combining a ½ teaspoon of cinnamon, ¼ teaspoon of ginger powder, ¼ teaspoon of ground cloves, and ¼ teaspoon of ground nutmeg and combining it to the mix.
8. Soothe Your Belly With Papaya And Pumpkin
Does your stomach ache from too much partying?
Well, blend the following ingredients together.
1 cup papaya, 1 cup coconut kefir, coconut yogurt or cultured coconut milk juice from ½ lime, 1 tbsp raw honey, and a and 3/4 cup pumpkin puree.
It’s bursting with nutrition and will ensure a healthy cleanse.
