Both my kids (and me, ahem..)are very big on snacks. They are able to survive without food but not without snacks.
Kevin and Krista are not allergic to nut products ( thank God for that!) so I can freely choose the snacks that they would like that are also healthy for their growing bodies. But, my son can only take nut free snacks to school due to the little ones there with nut allergies and school can’t risk such an exposure…
Since the school started, Kevin always make it a point to take either Morning Snack Wowbutter and Strawberries,Wagon Wheels with Wowbutter, or Bear Paws Minis Chocolate Chip & Wowbutter as his snacks of the day! He loves it and Mommy is fine with it too as these Bear Paws snacks are packed with goodness and Dare Foods makes them in nut-free and peanut-free Canadian facility!

Actually they sell DARE products in the US-I know I have seen them when shopping. I have no allergies to nuts or peanuts so I probably will not get this product. I am glad that they are being made so that all kids can enjoy snacking at school without worrying!

I didn’t know these were sold in the U.S. I am going to have to keep my eyes peeled for them here. I’ve seen so many positive reviews from Canadian bloggers, I am really wanting to try these snacks now!

I’ll have to search for these in my area. My son doesn’t have any food allergies, but I know the day is coming that I can’t send certain snacks to his preschool.
