****Disclosure: I got the below mentioned products free in exchange for an honest review. All opinions expressed here are my own and they are 100% honest****
I am very excited to talk to you about two of the Wearever products that I got to review very recently. For those of you, who are not familiar with Wearever, let me break the ice.
Incontinence or bladder control issues are common with men and women alike in their mid- thirties and older. Wearever makes incontinence undergarments for Men and Women to deal with their struggles related to losing of bladder control and help them maintain their dignity in such situations.
Along with the under garments, Wearever also makes incontinence bed pads with styles ranging from economy bed pads, Quilted plaid incontinence pads and Mattress pad with wings. These are great for not just folks dealing with incontinence, but also for kids who are on toilet training. So, that is why I requested Wearever to send me the Mattress Pad with Wings which fitted perfectly on Kevin’s bed for his night time potty training.
Kevin has a double bed and the wings that were attached to the pad made it very convenient to tuck it under both sides of the bed! This also prevents the pad from slipping and moving when Kevin tosses around at night, which in turn helped to stop the leak from spreading into to the mattress. Viola! I am so in love with this mattress pad.
What’s more? The top layer of the pad is quilted with poly soaker and it holds the moisture really well. The bottom part which is also called as the moisture proof layer, is made from a knitted vinyl barrier fabric. Due to its double bound edges, mattress pad is washable at home and could be reused clean with out much hassle. Did you know that my Wearever Mattress pad with Wings can hold up to 60 ounces of liquid? Yes, that’s right! It is indeed amazing and a product that fulfills its promises.
Another one of the Wearever product I was able to test was their knee-high Diabetic Socks.
Now, don’t think that I am Diabetic (rolling my eyes). I had Gestational Diabetes when I was pregnant and there ends my experience with Diabetes! But I know all about the hardships that Diabetes brings in its wake and the survival skills you need to have to endure it. That is why I decided to try them out even though I am normal now. Besides, my Mother-in- Law hovers around border line diabetes and I thought it would be a good deed on my part to let her try the sock and see how she finds it. Ha!
Okay, jokes aside, Wearever Diabetic Socks are made by Buster Brown and it is 100% cotton for maximum comfort and durability. This product is very appropriate for people who deal with poor circulation of blood, easily irritable skin or diabetes because of its seamless design. The socks are made with no elastic or synthetic. Wearing them was heaven for me and I vouch for its effectiveness.
