If you plan on throwing an Easter party this season, you will want to make these festive and easy Easter party hats. This easy Easter craft is a fun and frugal way to get into the Easter spirit with your children. You can make them using just a handful of inexpensive supplies, so take a look below at how you can get started on creating your own easy Easter craft! They are the perfect party hat to make your Easter party special, so get crafting!
Easy Easter Craft- Party Hat
Supplies needed for this easy Easter craft!
Plain colored party hats
Assorted scrapbook paper (find spring or Easter themed paper, available at your local craft store for around .50 cents per sheet)
Small chenille chicks
Assorted foam shapes (look for spring or Easter themed, available at most dollar and craft stores)
Glue
Scissors
We were able to find all of these supplies at our local craft store. Each product was just around $1-$2 each, and we were left with plenty of materials to make several hats with product leftover for our future craft projects. Now that is a great value!
Directions
1. Take one of your spring themed shapes. We found a package of spring themed shapes for just $1. Apply some glue to the shape and press it to the front of the hat.
2. Continue by cutting a strip of scrapbook paper. You want your strip to be about 1 inch thick. Wrap the strip around the hat, cut it to fit, and secure it with glue.
3. You now want to add your chick. Add a little glue to the feet of the chick. Press the feet to the strip of paper. You can even tuck them into the strip if you wish. Hold in place until secure.
You can always add additional embellishments if you are wanting. Stickers, glitter, additional foam shapes, etc. can all add some nice detail. Your craft store should have a nice selection to pick from and at a reasonable cost. Do what you like and what appeals to you. Get creative and have fun.
Your easy Easter party hat is now all set! How is that for an easy Easter craft? 🙂 Allow children to craft their own hat then wear it in celebration. These hats are fun, festive, and above all, frugal, so give them a try and really get into the Easter spirit. Happy Easter, and happy crafting! 🙂
