- Hi! I am Heather!
Hello, To all of you in the internet world of blogging, I am Heather Monts, now known as TheCosmopreneur. Last year I closed my Hair Salon of 10 years to come home and be a WAHM to my precious 3 children. A daughter age 13, son age 8, and my baby boy that just turned 2 on February 14,2013.
After having my 3rd child, owning a business that I worked in 6 days a week, became more difficult. I realized that I no longer had passion for being a Salon Owner, I wanted more time with my children. I was eaten up with guilt of leaving them on Saturdays when I had to work and getting a babysitter to come and spend the entire day with them. The look on their faces when I would get ready to leave broke my heart, and I knew I had to do something to change the situation.
I knew I had to have income, but I didn’t know what else I could do, I had been a Master Cosmetologist for so long and felt I was stuck.
I was browsing online one night, and came across this ad on Facebook that lead me to a video, it was kinda crazy, but I was drawn to it. I watched it over and over thinking this is to good to be true. No one could actually work from home blogging and be able to make money.
I went to work the next day and I couldn’t get that video out of my mind…….. I went back and watched it again and again. Then it hit me like a ton of bricks, I am not hearing this by accident, this is what I am going to use to get the time I need with my children.
I signed up, started blogging, did everything they taught me to do step by step and I closed my Hair Salon 6 weeks later. My children’s faces lit up like Christmas morning the day I told them momma was coming home. It was priceless, and I have been home ever since.
I had no blogging experience, I took it day by day and learned. I made a decision to help as many people as I could and share the opportunity of being able to blog and make money at home because every mother needs to be there for their children. It’s our job as a parent to make sure they have us when they need us.
So to all of you mothers out there, you can learn new things, and you deserve all the time in the world with your children, so today I am sharing this blog to help you.
