What weighs just 10 ounces and can literally make your life simpler, easier, and quite possibly more enjoyable?
Why it is the Nexus 7 Tablet! 🙂
Recently, I had the opportunity to partner up with Staples to perform the new Google Nexus Tablet review. You too can benefit from this amazing product, and may wish to add it to your own list for Santa this year. Take a look!
One of the reasons I was especially excited to try a tablet was, I am a very mobile person, so carrying around a lap top is not exactly an option. I also don’t want to carry around bulky books, cookbooks, journals, etc. With the Nexus tablet, everything I need is at my fingertips and there is no need to carry around these other items anymore. The variety of apps and notebook features allow me to have everything I need and use compressed into this one little tablet. Plus, it contains numerous other perks one would desire in a tablet such as a front and rear facing camera, spacious 7 inch screen, 10 hour battery life, built in Bluetooth and even high quality speakers.
So how have I used it around the home?
Lots of ways!
I have enjoyed the numerous free apps that are available to me. I also love that I can carry it with me right into the kitchen when I am preparing a dish (it has become like my new side chef!) so I never miss an instruction. I have been able to skip lugging around cookbooks, printing off recipes, and writing recipes by hand with simply searching for them on my tablet and going from there. I imagine for crafting or when doing DIY home repair, the tablet would come in handy just as much as I could take it with me anywhere in the house and utilize the generously sized screen to show me the steps.
Even though I have enjoyed the Nexus Tablet for a great deal of fun and hobby, it can easily transition to your work life as well. The easy to use keyboard, various apps, camera, fast speed, and generous amount of storage allow for the tablet to help with my professional tasks as well. I found myself utilizing the tablet for both areas of my life as it transitioned well from one to the next.
Prior to this I was prone to using Apple products. I wondered how my familiarity with Apple would affect my comfortableness with using this product. Well the good news is, it didn’t. Don’t worry about the fact that this is an Android if you are a tried and true Apple fan. In fact it is just as simple to use and sometimes I felt as though it was even simpler than some Apple products we frequently use. Size wise it is the same dimensions as an iPhone and as mentioned, weighs only 10 teenie tiny ounces.
Whether you are looking for a great tablet for work or play, games or recipes, camera taking or note taking, the Nexus Tablet has you covered. It is truly a versatile piece of technology and one that can replace the way you traditionally tackle your daily tasks.
So would you think that a product such as this would cost an arm and a leg? You would be pleasantly surprised. All of this convenience, power, and speed comes at a reasonable price. The Google Nexus 7 with 16GB, retails for $249 at Staples.ca. In my opinion, well worth it considering all of the features it offers that are very similar to that of a pricey laptop. Hope my Google Nexus Tablet Review was helpful to you .Head over to Staples and see the device for yourself and see what all of the fuss is about. It is truly a tiny machine that offers the user so much.

I’ve seen ads for this all over the place. I keep thinking God is trying to tell me something. I use my work iPad all the time and today had to replace a cracked screen…..after that pricey repair I kept thinking that I could have bought a Nexus tablet for that price!

Our teen has been begging for one of these. We have the iPad to go with our iPhones and MBP’s but she’s got an android phone and wants nothing to do with the Apple technology. Will definitely have to check this out with her a little more closer.

I’ve always been an Apple person, too, but I would definitely consider getting one of these. It seems like it’s easy to navigate and I’d be able to get a lot of use out of it.

I have wondered about this tablet. My son really wants one for his birthday in February so I am going to have to check this out. I know he would really like this.

Neat! I have never used one of these before – I’m more of an Apple/Mac girl 🙂 But this looks cool!

I’m an Apple lover. Glad to read that the switch over wasn’t difficult. May look into this when my tablet needs to be replaced.

As an Apple/Mac person it might be tough to switch, especially since all the family have apples too. But I must say it looks pretty cool.

Not a bad tablet but I’m in love with my iPad, not sure if I can switch over. Hubby would like something like this though since he’s not an apple fan. 🙂

Google has come out with a few really good hardware products recently and the Nexus line of tablets have garnered really good reviews. They are fast, easy to use and just work really well. I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 and I really like it. Thanks for the info on the Nexus.
