Let’s start December on a sweet note, shall we? Why, yes because we are entering the holiday season! And that itself is a reason to welcome the most magical of all months with some sweets and sprinkles, agree?
I am talking cakes. No, make it ice cream cakes, the best of all!
Hand up, if you like them! ***hands up here*** 😉
Here in our house, it is a common form of bribery to get things done. My kids would pretty much do anything I ask of them if I produce a teeny bit of ice cream cake for their palate. Since, I am not a great cook or baker, Baskin Robbins is our ice cream cake supplier. And it doesn’t hurt, they are just next door 🙂 I love their cakes too, so winner!
Anyway, today I am sharing one of our homemade ice cream cake recipes. This is a great addition for birthday parties as well. Ice cream theme parties? Perfect!
Have a look and you will see how easy to whip up one, even for a terrible baker like me!
Homemade Ice Cream Cake Recipes- No Churn Birthday Cake
Ingredients
14oz can sweetened condensed milk
2 C cold heavy whipping cream
1/3 C granulated sugar
1 tub blue frosting
¼ C birthday sprinkles
Directions
In a large bowl pour in whipping cream and whip until stiff peaks form. (Very stiff)
In a separate medium sized bowl combine condensed milk and sugar and blend.
Slowly pour in condensed milk mixture into the whipped cream and whip continually.
Once combined pour ice cream mixture into a loaf pan and smooth out.
Scoop out 3 table spoons of the frosting and place it randomly on top of the ice cream mixture.
Using a knife swirl the frosting until it gets mixed in.
Using a clean knife scoop out some frosting with it and smooth it on top of the ice cream. Continue until it looks desirable.
Sprinkle on the sprinkles and freeze for 6+ hours. (You could also swirl in sprinkles with the frosting as well)
See, that’s it! Serve and Enjoy!
