Friends,
I have news to share. I have been sleeping on this for the past few days, rehearsing what to say to you..
So here goes!
First of all, let me tell you how much I cherish you visiting my blog. I appreciate your loyalty in maintaining the connection with me and my blog over the years. You were always there to watch this little space grow and flourish.
There was a time when no one was reading A Momless Mom except my Dad… Then one day, I got a comment on one of my humble blog posts from a total stranger! It felt great to read that comment. It made me realize that I am no longer writing for Dad alone 🙂
Blogging never felt the same after that. I saw my readership expanding in time and it still continues to grow today. I felt like I am making a difference. Why else my readers would spend their time on my blog reading what I write? Why would they share my stories in the social media so others can read my posts as well?
So, thank you for sticking with me.
Now, my blog was always about Parenting and Life style. At least, that is the niche I chose to blog. Later, I tweaked the topics gearing them more towards busy parents like me. It is a struggle for parents working full time outside the home to balance work and life. Being a busy parent myself, I know it is not easy to be everywhere at the same time. Withe kids, life and work, some times things can get a little crazy. I wrote frequently about tips and tricks to maintain busy schedules for families, sharing easy peasy recipes, fun and fast crafts to do with kiddos etc. It is a subject I was familiar with.
Lately I have started noticing a trend on my own posts where I talk more to Moms alone than to the family as a whole. I find that I write more on things Moms are interested in. Take for example, posts like How to Make Money at Home for a Busy Mom, Amazon Mom Membership Information or Mothers Day Gift Ideas for a First Time Mom. These are just three. There are a few hundred more which are solely on this topic. [bctt tweet=”Sometimes, Change is necessary. It is an essential part of evolving. #QuoteoftheDay”]
Being in line with this fact, I have decided to refocus my niche. I will be writing primarily for Moms from now on. Parenting and Life Style are still relevant topics but now it takes 2nd and 3rd place. In hindsight, I know it is not a great change, but a change never the less. As part of refocusing my blog, you will shortly see a new logo and theme in this space. I have seen bits and pieces of design process and it is breathtakingly beautiful! You must see it.
I wanted to let you all know what is going on before the shift happens. Being in the know always helps, agree? I also hope you will welcome the new MomLessMom as she reveals herself by the end of this week..Wish me luck!

Looking forward to the changes. Nothing wrong with a focus on moms IMO since they are usually focused on everyone else but themselves!! lol
Agreed Cheryl!
congrats on your new direction
We moms definitely appreciate your change. We can use all the advice, support and commiserating that we can get.
