Cold and Flu season is upon us! With the cold weather comes the sneezing and coughing and It is tough to keep them at bay during this time of the year.
Right now, both my kiddos are dealing with cough and cold and I don’t like it. They are tired and lethargic and the couch is where I find them often times when this is the case.
Thankfully, Netflix believes in laughter as the best medicine and they are dedicating November to comic relief. A good laugh can do wonders both to mind and body, won’t you agree? 🙂
Kevin loves to cuddle up in the sofa where I would cover him in his blankie. Then, he gets to watch his favorite shows like SpongeBob SquarePants: The Movie or Tom and Jerry: The Movie .
In no time, I would hear him laughing out loud in spite of the flue or cold. How great is that? He is happy and it helps him get better faster than any other medicine he would have taken. Kevin forgets his sniffles momentarily… And I will take it any time of the day 🙂
Last week, we watched Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs and Despicable Me!
It was fun! Now, we can’t wait for Despicable Me 2 come on Netflix. It will be a perfect antidote to all kinds of ailments 🙂
There is a recipe for Home Made Vegetable Beef Stew I shared with you a while ago on the blog. It would be a perfect comfort meal for the kiddos on this cold and flu season.
Coming to think of it, the stew and Netflix will work as a great combination in helping our kids to fight off the nasty bugs and get better faster! Take that, flu season! Just a thought 🙂
Mean while, check out some other fun titles on Netflix to help you laugh your way through the flu season!
Stay warm everyone! Laugh out loud watching Netflix 🙂
