Happy New Year friends!
Its been a while. Precisely over one and half months.
I had to take a break from writing as I was starting a new job during holidays. Being out of active work force for almost 2 years, my schedule was drastically changed (yet again) to accommodate the new job and life. Not to mention, there were personal reasons too behind my prolonged absence from the blog space. Sometimes, you have to stop what you are doing and pause. I admit pausing takes quite a lot from you but it also brings clarity to many things you are trying to figure out.
People are fast in today’s world. They walk fast, they think fast, for god’s sake, they sometimes even eat fast, don’t you think? They can’t sleep. They get sick, their life spins out of control. I have been there too. Many number of times. And I am sure you relate? Yes!
So, I decided to take a step back by letting my mind wander away . I slightly changed my routine, stressing strongly on relaxing myself physically and mentally. In order to do this, I had to give up on blogging regularly and being active on social media. Yes, I missed writing because that is one of my favorite things to do. But when I consciously diverted from “life as I know it”, peace happened and it fetched more control over my life.
And let’s face it! No one can afford to go away on “extended vacation”. agree? 😉 So here I am!
At the moment, things are okay. I see smooth sailing on horizon very soon.
Anyhow, I couldn’t help but pop by to share a good news. Many of you know I have a long standing relationship with Netflix Canada. I am one of the Stream Team members and I have been working with them for the past 3 years. If one factor that made my blogging life enjoyable is my relationship with clients like Netflix. I do not consider working with them as “real work” but as an enjoyable experience.
I enjoy watching movies and shows just like anyone else. It is my great escape at the end of a long day. On that regard, Netflix never lets me down. It always bring forth shows that caters to my current taste and mood. I just love the “Recommended shows” on my stream. That tells me, no one knows me better than Netflix 😉
I am happy to share they just renewed my contract for the 4th year!
A welcome like no other! Thank you #Netflix for another year with #streamteam ❤
It means, I will continue bringing you all the good stuff Netflix has in store for all of us this brand new year. I will also take the liberty to share shows or movies that hold my fancy or best practices to get the most out of your Netflix streaming experience.
Speaking of shows, did you know Troll Hunters are now on Netflix? They are hot right now. What a great way to engage kids with Netflix while you soak up some me time 😉
So that’s all I wanted to talk about today.
I am happy. Life is good. My last few months in 2016 taught me a thing or two about the importance of taking care of myself first above anything else. Sometimes, even above kids.
I guess Netflix will be a good place to start, right?
Happy Streaming everyone!
