Yay! March break is here!
That means, winter is going to say bye soon (hopefully!) and Spring is waiting at the bend of the road.
Last night, we turned the clocks forward in an earnest effort to fast track the much awaited arrival of Spring. While it meant, losing one hour of valuable sleep and remaining in a Zombie state for the better part of next day, I am trying my best to suck it up as this is for a good cause!
And whats more in the agenda?
Correct! March Break means kids are home. Yeah, no school for a week, right? 🙂
On Saturday, I enlisted my toddler’s help in making a fun St.Patrick’s Day craft that could also easily pass as a great Spring craft as well! What is more exciting (other than watching Netflix, that is 🙂 ) than to get the house ready to welcome Spring appropriately with all the glory that it deserves? This craft, known as St. Patrick’s Day Candy Dish turned out to be a great decoration which we had fun making and added a touch of freshness to our home. Take a look and see if you like 🙂
We are also engaged in some serious Netflix watching for March Break and why not? There are some hot titles that are trending now in Netflix like crazy, both for small kids and big kids.
I know both my children will find something they like in Netflix and I just know that for once, they both will agree on a movie that they can watch together 😉 Now, that is exciting for me! Yes, it is just the little things you know, for us parents to get excited about and Netflix and their Family Film Fest will make that happen 🙂 ( fit a contended sigh here)
Oh, before I forget! Check out some of the movie titles which my kids approved, specially for the little ones 🙂
Here is the full list! Take a look! 🙂
- Turbo
- Princess Lillifee and the Little Unicorn
- My Friend Bernard
- Moonbeam Bear and His Friends
- Happy Feet Two
- The Voyages of Young Dr. Doolittle
- Thomas & Friends: Creaky Cranky
- Dora The Explorer: Star Catcher
My son, Kevin specially loved Creaky Cranky and Turbo while my little girl, Krista had fun watching Dora (a no-brainer really!)
Netflix brings some awesome movies for the big kids too! Here are some that caught my attention:
Get to know more about these cool movies 🙂
- Akeelah and the Bee
- Gulliver’s Travels
- The Croods
- Antz
- Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events
- Judy Moody and the Not Bummer Summer
- Hugo
- National Treasure
Isn’t it wonderful that we can watch whatever movie we want, anytime, anywhere with Netflix, allowing us to customize our own Family Film Fest this March Break? I think it is amazing!
So Lights, Camera, Action! Grab your popcorn and take it easy. Its time for Netflix. I promise it will be fun 😉

I have no children but all those movies look really cute and age appropriate. Netflix also has some great titles for adults!.

We’ve had Netflix for years in our house. We originally got it to watch tv shows, but ended up loving the huge selection of movies for kids, too!
Those movies look exciting!
Thanks for such a great post 🙂

I miss my Netflix subscription! So many good movies and tv shows on there – I could spend hours on it (especially now since we are looking for things to do during march break!)
I don’t know what we would do without our Netflix! My kids thouroughly enjoy it and so do we!

I love Netflix and have had it for years. With a child on her way to college I love knowing that she can still stream and watch her favorite shows using my subscription.

We own Netflix and didn’t realize Turbo was on there! Plus Dora is back? They took it off for awhile, I’ll have to take a look!
I love watching Netflix whether alone or with my boyfriend. There are so many choices to watch so options are usually unlimited. I just really wish new seasons would hurry up and be available for my favorite shows! 🙂
