Saturday Poetry- Fragile

The Lighthouse Poetry

We long for the Sun in winter.

But await rain in summer.

We wish we weren’t lonely yet we yearn for time alone in crowds.

At times, we want to drop everything and run but part of us will want to stay and fight.

Such are the contradictions we feel in life regularly.

So it’s by no accident that our fragility teaches us a thing or two about Strength.

A resilience that can crack open our Souls into million pieces of light even from the dark depths of grief.

We learn that it’s ok to be fragile.

Because the strength in us will always outshine our brokenness.

And we learn that we are invincible.
