Experience the Magic of Iceland with Guide to Iceland!

Iceland.

One of the places to visit on my bucket list. I have been wanting to go there forever, to witness the incredible Northern Lights.

Guide to Iceland

They are the most elusive and unpredictable attractions this country has.

There are a lot of variables to consider to make your experience seeing Northern Lights memorable- like season, how long you stick around to watch them, location and of course, luck! If you can’t tell yet, I am an ardent follower of Northern Lights and for that reason, Iceland will be always on top of my list of places to visit.

Why should you visit Iceland?

That being said, Northern Lights can also be seen from places like Whitehorse and Yukon in Canada. You don’t have to go all the way to Iceland. So then what makes a visit to Iceland the trip of a life time? Because there are a ton of other fantastic things to do in Iceland, Northern Lights is just an added bonus 🙂

If you are thinking of booking a trip to Iceland to experience all the magic this country has to offer, I highly recommend looking at Guide to Iceland!

Tours, Cars, Accommodations

Not sure what to do when you are in Iceland, they got you covered! It is easy to get on and see all the different tours they offer, prices, and you can even book and select specific packages. I was amazed at all the neat travel spots you could visit while you were there. I know for me the whale watching tour from Reykjavik would be such a dream! I have always wanted to see a whale up close, it is not something I have experienced before! So to be in such a beautiful scenery, it would be a memory  I would remember forever! I also think a glacier tour would be amazing as well.

You can find tours for pretty much anything, dog sledding, glaciers, ice climbing, horse riding tours, surfing, super Jeep tours, fishing, rafting, photo tours, and the list truly goes on! I bet you can get some amazing photos, Iceland is one beautiful destination!

Guide to Iceland will also help you find a vehicle to rent, you can even rent a camper if you want! That would be a neat option to camp along the way as you travel through site-seeing! Or if you are like me and prefer more luxury accommodations, they will share places you can stay. From hostels, guesthouses, bed, and breakfast, farm stays, and even private apartments and luxury hotels. It is amazing to me how many options you have. I think the farm stay or a bed and breakfast would be neat to try!

If you know who Ben Stiller is, he had some of the movie, The Secret Life of Walter Mitty filmed in Iceland. You can have a local take you on a tour and stand in the same spot where this movie was filmed in! How magical would that be, I know for me just standing in such an awesome place where a popular movie was filmed would be such a fan-girl moment. I am a big fan of Ben Stiller.

You can even access the Connect with Locals section on the site, to find a tour guide that fits you. They speak all different languages and share a little bit about themselves. If you feel a connection with one, you can set up tours and more with them! It is a really neat feature, I have never seen such a thing. I think meeting up with a local you have the opportunity to really see parts of Iceland in a unique way. Sometimes when you travel you see high traffic popular spots, but with a local sharing information, you might find a location that is so unique and special! It is a way to see parts of Iceland that you may not have known about if it wasn’t for the local guiding you!

Because Guide to Iceland is so extensive on what you can do, where to stay, what to eat, connecting with locals, booking a trip, it makes it simple. It is the most popular site used for learning more and booking trips to Iceland. I am amazed at all the amazing work they put into this site. You can literally book your whole trip, learn about tours, connect with locals, and set up transportation for when you arrive. This site makes it absolutely easy for you to travel with ease and have everything planned out perfectly!
