With summer just a few short weeks away I know a lot of families are already thinking about what they can put on their summer bucket list. Some families might be Disney or Zoo bound, some might be preparing for a few weeks on the beach and some might just be dreaming of sleeping in for the first time in months. Here in my home we’ve been eagerly awaiting the arrival of summer so we can spend some much needed time outdoors after enduring the endless hours cooped up inside during the long winter. Thankfully for us I was recently given the opportunity to work with Crayola to review their new line of outdoor products to experience some Crayola Color Magic!
Crayola has been inspiring artistic creativity in children for over 100 years. Ever since they released their first box of crayons off of the assembly line back in 1903, they’ve been passionate about helping parents and educators raise children who let their creativity run wild and grow into inspired, original adults. Founded by cousins, Edwin Binney and C. Harold Smith, Crayola was on its way to fruition when they took over ownership of Edwin’s fathers pigment business. Some of their early products included red oxide pigment used as barn paint and carbon black used in car tires. Shortly after the cousins realized the need for safe, high-quality, affordable wax crayons and in 1903 Crayola produced their first box of 8 crayons that sold for 5 cents each. Since then the Crayola brand has only grown from that first box of crayons and now produces a wide variety of crafting activities, innovative art tools and creative toys that give children the tools they need to express themselves as they explore, create, dream and play!
For review I was sent Crayola’s Specialty Chalks, 24 count Chalk, Side Walk Paint, Sidewalk Paint Tray and Colored Foam-all equipped to unleash some Crayola color magic outdoors!
The Outdoor Color Foam lets little ones create using a non-toxic, colorful foam. It’s available in Fluffy Fuschia, Foamy Yellow and Puffy Purple. Its 4 oz bottle is easy for small hands to hold and has an easy pump handle that makes dispensing the fun foam easy for kids and adults alike. Worried about your kiddos making a mess? Outdoor Color Foam disappears when it touches the skin or gets wet. It’s also safe enough for clothing, skin, walls and even friends.
The Crayola Sidewalk Chalk comes in 24 pieces so you can be certain that everyone is able to get creative the next time you’re craving some much needed sunshine.
Sidewalk chalk is easy to hold and thanks to it’s anti-roll shape, it also won’t roll away when your little ones get distracted or need a break and put the pieces down. It includes shades of red, yellow and blue. We had a blast with the Side Walk Paint and the Sidewalk Paint Tray as well!
Check out Crayola today and start planning for a colorful summer 🙂 Unleash your Crayola Color Magic Outdoors.

Very cool!! I really like the new sparkle and tie-dye chalks! We live in a townhouse area where there are tons of kids & they all create sidewalk art together in the summer. It’s kind of sad when the rain comes & washes their masterpieces away!
We’ve tried these! they are soo cool!
