Happy New Year everyone!
Gosh, yes I know it is a little too late to wish you all but as you can see, I have been MIA for a while. Holiday season swept me off of my feet and I have been busy since then. Although I missed writing on my blog, I had to keep it in the back burner for a while due to family commitments. Hope you didn’t miss me? 😉
Anyways, hey, I am back! *waving my hand*
So, lets get this started. I have good news to share! Netflix renewed my contract with them as a Stream Team member for year 3! Yay! It means, I will continue bringing you all the latest streaming news from their camp. Same as before, monthly. So exciting, I am proud to be a part of Netflix Canada Stream Team!
Last month, I missed writing all about the digital cookie exchange fun Netflix organized among the Stream Team members. I was supposed to take part in baking cookies and such, but alas! I was nowhere around my oven 🙁 Pretty sad about that.
Okay, so this month Netflix would love to know how you are planning to make your 2016 the best yet! They want to hear all about your resolutions, aspirations and dreams for the new year. Yes, New year resolutions can be fleeting. They change, you lose track of them mid year, or even worse, resolutions may completely disappear out of your radar one day.
For this reason, Netflix has a bunch of titles set up for streaming. These titles are sure to keep you motivated and help you stay inspired so you can follow through with your resolutions. Talk about feeling great at the end of the day, or in this case, end of the year.
Check out these titles:

New Year New You
Focusing on YOU sounds like a great goal or resolution to you?
Well, that is my new year resolution. Focusing on ME. I am going to pay close attention to myself this year. This includes taking care of myself better and making myself happy. Often times, this is something I always overlook. When you are busy and have a family to take care of, it is easy to get lost in the hustle and bustle of life. Your needs always take back seat and you will try to to find happiness with what is left in the plate.
I am sure you have a similar story to share too.
Last few months, I have been thinking about my life. I found great inadequacies- some that is out of my control and some that I could change, if I set my mind into it. I am concentrating on the second part- things I could change in my life. Chances are, I might end up happier with the end results. Sounds simple, but it is no small feat. It is challenging but doable if I work on it, harder. So I broke my goal down to two parts:
Eating better and Active Living
*I will introduce more green to my diet (yes, I am so meh when it comes to veggies). It will be challenging of course, only in the beginning.
*I was always allergic to working out. No gyms and fitness memberships for me, no sir! I always took my petite structure for granted and thought I am healthy enough. I could pretty much eat anything and not put on weight, so why bother? But I realized this is wrong thinking, of course. I am not strong. What I have is not a solid foundation. It is just flab and flesh and no muscles. Anyway, enter work outs into my routine this new year. So far, I haven’t broken the pace, happy to report. I am also aiming to squeeze in some yoga! Signing up as we speak!
So, there! You will see a New Year New Me pretty soon. That is my New year resolution.
Netflix and I would love to hear your resolutions! Care to share? 😉
