Goodbyes are hard, aren’t they? But that doesn’t make it any rarer in our lives.
We deal with the concept in many size and forms. You would think you are a pro at saying goodbyes after doing it long enough. In my case, it couldn’t be any further from the truth. I hate goodbyes. To me, each goodbye is a fresh cut of wound. Chances missed or risks not taken.
But hey, I know I am being cliched here. It is easy to chuck it out there when you are nursing a glass of wine.Yep!
So, let’s switch gears a bit. Goodbyes are also opportunities.-an opportunity to venture into new hopes, dreams, and goals. Goodbyes herald new beginnings. Can’t argue with that one, can we?
I have been working with Netflix for the past 3 years. 2018 would be my 4th! Wow, time flies.
Being a stream team member, streaming is pretty much an everyday activity in my life. When I am not streaming for myself, I pick shows for my family, friends, and readers. And I love it! At this point, I am all for hitting that pause button and reflect back on my favorite Netflix moments!
And there is a ton to share. So I will only touch on the highlights. Short and sweet is the way to go, right?

Celebrating New Year’s with your kids can get exhausting. Fast.
While they may think they’re staying up until midnight, little do they know the secret weapon you have in your pocket: Netflix New Year’s Eve Countdowns. With nine countdowns to choose from, you can press play on the night’s festivities whenever and however you want, so they’re off to bed sooner and you can pop a bottle of bubbles—now that’s a cause for celebration.
Featuring a cast of faces familiar and new, kids can party with Trollhunters, All Hail King Julien, Skylanders Academy, Puffin Rock, Word Party and Beat Bugs, and new appearances from Pororo, Larva, and True and the Rainbow Kingdom. Not to mention Netflix is making it easier than ever to discover all of the countdowns your family can stream.
Starting December 26, search “Countdown” or “New Year’s Eve Countdown” and you’ll find a special 2018 icon added to the Netflix.com/Kids homepage with direct access to all nine videos.
Ok, now your turn! Tell me all about the Netflix shows and movies that filled your family’s queue in 2017?
