Welcome!
My name is Vinma, founder of this blog, Momless Mom.

The name Momless Mom is an inspiration from my own Mother who left me for reasons unknown thirty some years ago. She is still very much emotionally unavailable and largely missing from my life.
But this blog does not carry any remnants or dark side of my life living as a Motherless daughter, rest assured. There is no negativity, no sadness, grief associated that I will bombard you with. Well except on Mothers Day every year and on days when I miss her too much. Then yeah, I write some things which I hope you would read.
But apart from that, we are talking good stuff in this space. Let me get to the nitty-gritty.
Your interest in Self-care and Self-love brought you here and I am glad you found me. Hooray to you for finally taking that step to wellness. I cannot be more proud!
Although Momless Mom started as a Parenting blog later evolving to Lifestyle blog for busy families, now this space is exclusively dedicated to Mental Wellness, Self-care and Personal growth for Moms, Women in general.
I am happy the way my blog has grown since 2012 serving the Moms community in all ways possible.
If you are here looking for support on your Motherhood journey, consider this your safe space where you will meet kindred spirits.
Here, you will explore and entertain the idea of self-care. Mind you, Self-care is not some fancy word everyone gush about in women empowerment meetings and such. It is a way of living that all should practice for the ultimate wellness of mind, body, and soul. Now if you are a Mom with a lot on your plate and hardly any time to take deep breaths and relax, guess what? Your need for Self-care has become tenfold crucial.
Question for you:
When was the last time you truly focused on yourself? That you have done something for yourself that left you all relaxed and happy?
Let me share something. I have been at a low point in my life once. I didn’t know I EXISTED back then. To me, I was never in the picture, it was ALWAYS others. I was busy meeting other people’s needs and hardly ever stopped to acknowledge myself. I never asked HER/ME what I wanted or what I liked. I didn’t care if HER in me was happy or sad or lived. A breaking point arrived eventually and I had to make a choice. And hell yes, My choice was ME! I picked ME. And then Mama, there was no turning back.
I could go and on about how things turn around for me and how I arrived where I am right now both mentally and physically. But an About page is no place for that obviously and I have no plan to bore you to death with all the details yet.
So that’s why I set up a shop so we can talk about our self-care and self-discovery stories over coffee/wine- your choice. All I ask is to leave all your responsibilities at the door and only bring YOURSELF in. We are gonna have so much fun!
I am humbled to be your Self-care advocate and soul sister in this journey and hope to hold your hands the entire time!
Allow me.
xoxo mama.

I am a momless mom too. I lost my mother at age 7 and it has colored every single thing in my world since then–“good” and “bad.” It’s always comforting to find others out there who are motherless daughters and momless moms. You recognize you aren’t alone, that other people have had some of the same struggles as you, and that they can relate so much to what you’ve been through. I like to think that my biggest advocate in my life is my mother–that she is working miracles for me in the unseen space of the universe.

oh Nicole! You have no idea how much your words mean to me… One goal behind starting my blog was to meet people with shared backgrounds. And I do meet them here and there occasionally. I am glad that you reached out. I can imagine the pain you are going through ,for it is my pain too. But as long as we can touch the rainbow by finding the good in our situations, I think we should be okay. Stay in touch.. thanks for stopping by 🙂

Very lovely initiative momlessmom!
The biggest challenge in raising children today, according to parents and non-parents alike, is dealing with the outside impacts of society.
Beyond communal influences, other observed challenges in raising children include teaching ethics and values, maintaining self-restraint, handling the financial aspects of childrearing, and dealing with the educational system.
I feel, If you can address these kind of issues or share your thoughts will add more value for this initiative.
Thanks! Appreciate your feedback 🙂
I grew up essentially momless too – my mom left when I was ten and pretty much never looked back. Great concept for a blog!

Hi Vinma,
Hope you’re well! Just wanted to ask if you accept outside content contributors, because I would love to pitch you some ideas if so.
I’m a contributing author for a new homeowners site, and I’m looking for opportunities to write more actively for other sites as well.
Are you the right person to contact about this?
Thanks,
Beth
